The Lady Riders beat Smithson Valley last night 38-27, improving their record to 12-7 and dropping Smithson Valley to 16-4.
“Honestly it felt great,” senior Arysia Porter said. “My team and I came out with energy and stayed with it til the end.”
Porter led the team with 19 points, and senior Aliyah Christmas had 15 points.
“I felt accomplished,” Porter said. The fact that I got to help out on the team and contribute to the win.”
