Keedren Boston is an urban gospel artist. And he’s also the I.S.S. teacher.
Boston has been an I.S.S. teacher for two years. Before he was an I.S.S teacher, he was a substitute for a while.
Boston hasn’t always wanted to be a teacher; young Keedren dreamed of being a fireman.
“My wife is a teacher, so it just kind of made sense for me to be a teacher,” Boston said.
Interacting with students and trying to inspire them to do better, is Boston’s favorite thing about his job. Boston loves his job and his students.
“Mr. Boston is a role model to us African American young men, he is a prime example of the pillar of success that we should all follow,” said senior Terrell Rock.
On the side though, Boston inspires people in a different way. He spreads Christianity and gospel around the world. He is currently on a mission in New Zealand sharing his love for Jesus through his music. Boston’s music invigorates people all over the world.
Boston loves teaching and music. “I get an opportunity to inspire, motivate and encourage people from all cultures and different backgrounds,” he said.
