The Beautification Club is a club that looks for ways how they can improve the campus. The club is hosting a campus clean up today to get students to volunteer and make the campus better. This is the first time that the beautification club has done this. Other clubs are welcomed to participate to clean the school. Twenty students are now expected to show up to work together with custodians.
“I think it’s good that the members of the beautification club are going to help the custodians clean the school, because it’s too much work for the custodians to do by themselves”, Shannon Tapia, sophomore, said.
The Beautification Club usually just makes posters to encourage other clubs, the soccer, basketball, softball, baseball, and just to encourage students to keep the campus beautiful. Overall, the club noticed that the trash has gone down.
“There isn’t more trash this year than last year, {in fact} it’s much cleaner, and the students are using the trash cans. It has really improved”, Mr. Lopez, Credit Recovery teacher and Beautification Club sponsor said.
The people who participate will get community service hours.
