The world’s first and perhaps, the only musician to blend classical violin, modern dance and video games in her music, Lindsey Stirling releases her self-titled debut album today on iTunes. She also plans to have a follow-up album of all her covers, come out afterwards.
Stirling, mostly known electronic-dubstep background music, while playing the electric violin, has been working on her album since July, while also working on some other new music videos. According to her personal blog, it has been reported that her album will have all her 10 original songs, including number one, most popular top hit, “Crystallize.”
This album will and is already, a huge deal for Stirling and her millions of fans. ITunes, and even YouTube, will be taken over by her fans, who will be watching and listening to her newly released music and new music videos.
“It really amazing to me that we live in a world where the individual really can have a voice that matters. You don’t have to conform to the masses and be accepted by the powerhouse cooperations in order to ‘make it’ but rather, by being yourself, you attract the audience you want and they are the only people you want to make happy,” Stirling said on her Vintage & Rare interview on Feb. 27.
