Many people have a favorite pastime. Some enjoy playing sports and others like writing. Students at Roosevelt have a variety of things they like to do with their spare time.
“Laying down under the stars thinking and just listening to music is my favorite thing to do,” Anthony Danz, sophomore, said.
Freshman Caleste Bell likes to use her phone to pass the time with communication.
“I would say texting is my favorite pastime, because I get to talk to my friends and keep in touch with them,” Caleste Bell said.
Everyone loves spending time with someone else that they can trust and relate to while others prefer some independence and time alone. Most people enjoy a little bit of both. It seems to make people more productive when they have that person around them that can motivate them through the tough times and remind them how valuable they are.
Bell’s twin sister Celeste Bell, also in the ninth grade, prefers to have someone around most of the time.
“Chillin’ with my friends would have to be the best past time, because I have fun with them,” Celeste Bell said.
