Many MP3 music players such as Apple iPods and smart phones like Androids and iPhones are now loaded with various applications ranging from fun video games, maps, social networks, to educational tools. Currently, Angry Birds is the most popular game application available from the Apple Application store feature on iPhones, but with so many new applications coming out daily, that’s bound to change soon.
When you’re just waiting for an appointment, bored, or just sitting down by yourself, you can play a fun application game.
A lot of games, movies, and business items come in applications now. Roosevelt students have lots of different opinions on which applications they think are the best.
“My favorite app on my iPod is Angry Birds. It is very addicting and I love it,” Ashley Trueblood, sophomore, said.
Angry Birds first came out in 2009, and many people enjoy the game which has been downloaded millions of times by users.
“On my iPod, I have a game called Mega Jump and it’s fun to play,” Jason Salas, junior, said.
Whether it’s games, or some other kind of application, most people enjoy their smart phone or iPod experience now even more.
“Angry Birds is one my favorite applications to play because it’s fun and very addicting,” Shannon Smith, sophomore, said.
Looks like Angry Birds is the game of choice for most students looking for a quick cure to boredom. It is very difficult to stop playing applications once you start, they are truly addictive.
