Although the Patriots have an awesome defensive side they seem to have failed defending the Denver Broncos this weekend in Denver, Colorado. This AFC championship game is perhaps the most memorable one for the Broncos.
It stopped a strong season for the New England Patriots including last week’s game when they stopped the Kansas City Chiefs, who had won 11 consecutive games, including the wild-card round against the Houston Texans. The Patriots put a stop to their winning streak the weekend before last with a 27 to 20 victory that lead the Patriots to the AFC championship.
If you watch a replay of their previous games and then a recap of last weekend’s game you will notice the Chiefs failed to do any of the things that had won their last 11 games. The Chiefs challenged Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady and he seized on every Kansas city mistake to beat them and end their season.
After yesterday’s game, though, the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers are now set to go head to head in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, Feb. 7.
