The varsity basketball team defeated the Reagan Rattlers 71-63 Friday night, bringing their district record to 2-4, putting them in a four-way tie for the fourth playoff spot as they open up the second half of district on Tuesday against Lee. Madison and Churchill finished the first half at 5-1; MacArthur at 3-3.
The Riders are in the running tying with Reagan, Johnson, and Lee at 2-4.
They will match up against Lee on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Blossom Athletic Center.
