Students and faculty are becoming more and more eager to experience Roosevelt’s homecoming! It all kicks off Friday, October 6, at 7:30 when TR tries to continue their way to playoffs, followed by TR’s homecoming dance that will be held at Littleton gym and will start at 8:00 and end at 11:45 Saturday night!
“It will be awesome, I can tell by the participation,” student council sponsor Matthew Dodge said. “Look around the campus and you will find posters everywhere, plus ticket sales are doing great. Have a good time students with some TR respect and TR spirit.”
Art teacher Kendra Slaughter has no previous homecoming background, but thinks that its an very exciting event and she can tell by the talks that float around the school campus.
“Yes, I’m expecting a wonderful turnout,” Slaughter said. “Students go and have a good time.”
Students that walk the halls of TR campus are deliberately excited more and more everyday, just so they can be at homecoming as days are coming close.
“I’m expecting a time I’ve never experienced, since it will be my first,” said junior Savannah Francis. ” I’m going with a best friend.”
