HOSA’s next meeting is on Sept. 27; they also meet every other Thursday. Ms. Debra Ramirez is the sponsor for HOSA. This is her first full year sponsoring the club.
“It’s terrifying sponsoring for the first time,” she said. ” But the kids help a lot.”
They do health academic challenges like medical terminology, and skill challenges like physical therapy and nurses aid. HOSA is nation wide and also in colleges. In the first full week of November, ambulances, helicopters, and firetrucks will be on the football field for HOSA week.
