Roosevelt High School, a recognized school campus, must be well prepared and ready to help all students. One way to help students is with the career center. The career center is always ready for members of the student body. This counseling office can help many students get what they need to get their career far and ready for when they graduate. So, what is ‘Career Counseling’ all about and what does it have to offer?
“We now have a ‘Cafe College’ which is a college access resource city downtown which will be real big for the next few months for seniors in financial aid, they have many workshops including preperation for the SAT and ACT,” Mr. Johnhas, said.
Cafe college is an awesome resource center, especially for seniors who want to apply for scholarships, it can help in many ways and open many doors.
“There is also a new law for the Education Partnership that says any students under 30 must get the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination since it is an easy thing to catch and it affects you in a drastic way, since we are around a lot of people and that’s how you catch it, college has a lot more, therefore it is required to get vaccinated,” Ms. Carla Gomez, said.
Roosevelt offers many programs that can help all students get to college and reach their dreams. It is just a matter of finding the time needed to get informed and sticking to your dreams and working hard to reach them. Career counseling provides information you need to get the career of your dreams.
