For the past year speculation about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton running for president made headlines everywhere. Memes left and right, comments about it from famous important people and even ridiculous news scandals have surfaced. Whether people are taking this election as a joke or actually see some good in the candidates, it is still a historic time.

“The election will not make or break this nation, no matter what we will still be a superpower and there will still be growth in this country,” junior Elvis Fisher said.
Oct 19. marked the last and final debate that took place at the University of Nevada. But a couple of days before the debate took place, a Trump scandal surfaced involving several allegations from many women who say he abused them. Then last Friday the FBI re-opened their examination of Clinton’s emails.
” Everyone needs to make sure they vote,” history teacher Amber Whitfield said. “I think it’s exciting that people get to be part of society and participate because this election is very important.”
