Mockingjay is an extraordinary opening to an amazing two-part series ending the trilogy The Hunger Games.
Mockingjay is about a rebel, Katniss Everdeen, trying to change the government, after what happened in the first and second movies. Mockingjay came out Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 and is still showing in theaters everywhere.
From Francis Lawrence, the director of Water for Elephants, I am Legend, and Catching Fire, comes this movie with amazing actors including Jenifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Melark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorn, and Willow Sheilds as Primrose Everdeen. With the help from production companies Color Force and Lionsgate, this 123-minute movie with great acting and production companies comes a great first part of Mockingjay.
After everything Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has been through she stays strong in doing what she can to be rebel leader who is being used to unite the districts to take down the capitol to overthrow the government and trying to get back the love of her life while still in shock from her previous games. With assistance from a district she will take on as much as possible.
You will enjoy the movie perspective of all three films fitting together perfectly. But if you read the book you may think that the details are forgotten. In general it is a great movie with romance and a lot of action to it.
