The movie adapted version of the Marvel comic Big Hero 6 has been a box office hit with its laughs for all ages and unique storyline. Whether it’s the lovably caring Baymax or the smart and sassy Gogo who’s your favorite character, you’ll love this comedy.

Big Hero 6 was released on Nov. 6 and is still in theaters everywhere.
This 3-D animated superhero comedy is produced by Walt Disney Studios and Motion Pictures. It was directed by Don Hall who also voice acted in Winnie the Pooh and Chris Williams who also directed Glago’s Quest and co-directed with Bryan Howard in the movie Bolt.
While this gorgeously animated film’s budget was $165 million, it has made over $224 million since it’s release. Its cast includes Ryan Potter as Hiro Hamada who also stars in Nickelodeon’s Supah Ninjas and Once Upon a Time’s Jamie Chung as Gogo Tomago.
Big Hero 6 is about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada who decides to attend his brother Tadashi’s technology college, but his plans are put on hold when tragedy strikes him and many people of his community. With the help of Baymax, his brother’s robot caretaker creation, and four other technology geniuses who double as his best friends, he seeks out a masked villain who stole his creations called ‘microbots.’ The film has many notable heart wrenching moments and hysterical off the wall jokes, with just enough twists and turns to keep you interested. As most children’s movies do, this film ends on an optimistic note, but leaves many doors open for a sequel.
While Big Hero 6 is a cute, heartfelt movie, it fails to deliver the more culturally diverse characters that it has in the comics. But overall, this motion picture ranks high for must-see movies.
