Roosevelt had their course fair on Jan. 29 Eighth grade students from various schools such as Wood, Ed White, and Krueger attended along with current students seeking more information on classes. Although there were numerous amount of students in the cafeteria with the core classes, there was a large amount of students in the elective part of rough rider who were interested. Lead Counselor Michelle Howard said there were approximately 100 eighth graders at the course fair looking for what the future holds in high school.
“I feel like I’m ready for high school, but nervous. I’m very interested in the journalism class and for being an eighth grader I want to do a lot of things,” Ed White Middle School student Miguel Castro said.
