Thursday night varsity soccer was playing against South San H.S. They both had struggle making a goal first-half. Both team were back and forth time ran out teams score was 0-0.
At half time, the goalies practice while the team had a break; second-half started under seven minutes of the game the crowd was screaming “GOOOOOAL.” Roosevelt had made a goal; the team and crowd were happy.
“I feel exited about district coming up, we have hard working guys that are dedicated to the game,” Coach Wheat said.
The coach feels that they overcame a lot and played as a team in Thursday night’s game at blossom stadium.
“I feel my team did very well during the games they had won so far,” sophomore Gonzalo Manzo said. Manzo thinks the defense needs a little work, but he knows that the team is ready to go district play.
The team faces Jefferson tonight at Blossom at 7 p.m. before opening district against Lee next Tuesday.
