On Wednesday, Jan. 15, more than 600 eighth graders toured the campus for Teddy Tours.
They watched performances from theater, band, orchestra, dance, and JROTC and toured the campus, seeing the classrooms and meeting some of their future teachers.
“Teddy Tour gave us the opportunity to spotlight some of our outstanding students through their performances and allowed us to encourage future Rough Riders to get involved. We appreciate all the support and want to thank everyone who helped make it a success,” counselor Darla Harper said.
There were 340 students invited from Ed White, 299 from Krueger and 130 from Wood Middle School.
“ I liked it,” junior patriot Daniella Briseno said. “I like performing, and knowing how the 8th graders could look up to us next year.”
