District Wrestling is in full effect and Coach Miller is more than confident the team will do good this year. Already placing 24 out of 70 in Houston and 9 out of 45 in Austin against other schools, gives the team bragging rights.
“I feel we got better throughout the school season, I’m excited to see how we compete against the other schools,” he said, anticipating today’s matches to make up for last weekend, when they were shorthanded and suffered losses.
After the ice day yesterday, varsity only will wrestle at Madison High School today.
The team will be going against Wagner, Judson, Steele, and all of North East school district.
