After weeks of celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness month, Student Council is finishing its observance with the Pink Out game against Johnson tonight.
Student Council started selling shirts at the beginning of the month, buying 300 shirts at the beginning and selling out within the first two weeks. Students wore their pink shirts every Friday in October.

“The selling of the shirts was a huge success in the fact that we ordered so many shirts and all of them were gone in a matter of weeks,” Stu Co. President Marricella Perez said.
A survivor, counselor Darla Harper, was welcomed back after her surgery last month to a huge surprise. Yesterday student council decorated Harper’s office for her returning back to school. They filled her office with pink balloons, pink posters, pink ribbons, and whole bunch of pink knick-knacks.
“Decorating Mrs. Harper’s office was extremely fun and it was a sense of fulfillment and our part,” Perez said. “We know it was for a good reason and it would make her happy.”
Varsity Football Pink Out game will be tonight at Heroes stadium against Johnson High School at 730 p.m.
