Tonight may be just any other night for some students , but for the students running for homecoming king and queen, tonight is everything. These students have been preparing for quite some time now, and they are overwhelmed with anticipation to know that they have been placed in homecoming court, which increases their chances of winning.
“I’m am kind of nervous, because there are a lot of people, but I am confident,” said senior Robert Medina, who has been placed in court as a prince.”I believe that I should win because I do a lot for this school, I am the first male cheerleader in over six years.”

Voting for king and queen happens today and lunches, and the winners will be announced at the game tonight.
“There is a lot of people running, it is basically a popularity contest,” princess Jessica Mullen said. Mullen is running with David Thai who is very excited for tonight.
“Winning queen would be very amazing, but you have to take what you get, I will be happy for whoever wins, this is not a death match, I just do this for fun,” Mullen said.
The full court will be honored at half time tonight. Elections for the remainder of the court were held earlier in the week and winners were announced Thursday. The court includes:
