Approximently 250 students currently have library fines. They can get them forgiven this week (April 15-19) as the library will hold ‘Fine Forgiveness Week’ in conjunction with National Library Week.
“This is a time to focus on all libraries and the services they provide. Students can come into the library and ask to have their fines waved without paying a single dime,” librarian Cynthia Saenz said. “All you need to do is come down in person to our very own Roosevelt library to wave your fines and you could be entered in a drawing to win a free flash drive or a copy of The Hobbit along with the latest DVD.”
