The Playstation 3 has been known for games with amazing graphics like Gran Turismo, Infamous and Uncharted whose graphics are very realistic. But how can Sony make the graphics any better? On Feb. 20, Sony announced the launch of the Playstation 4. Although Sony didn’t yet give an exact release date nor much information on prices nor what the console will look like, Sony did announce that the Playstation 4 will be running on a highly enhanced PC graphics processing unit (GPU) delivering 1.84TFLOPS of performance compared to the rsx playstation 3 GPU that was manufactured by NVIDIA.
Sony also released images of the controller which is pretty much the same dual-shock 4 controller with the same button layout but with a touch pad and a share button. Sony hasn’t yet released much info on the touch pad but did elaborate on the share button. The share button is a new feature on the controller that allows users to record gameplay and share it with friends on social networks like Facebook or Twitter. Whenever you are stuck on a level that you cannot get past, the share button also allows your friends to control your gameplay and help. The playstation 3 is already pricy, so one can imagine the price of the Playstation 4 remote which has a touchpad.
But which games will there be for he Playstation 4? Along with the release of the Playstation 4 the games available will be Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack,Watch Dogs and another element to the Infamous franchise Infamous: Second Son
Sony has announced that the Playstation 4 should be available in stores before Christmas 2013.
