This year 10 Wrestlers will be going to regionals: three boy wrestlers, four girl wrestlers and three alternates.
The boy wrestlers going to regionals are Andres Farrrera in the 138 weight class, Jeffery Bryson in the 195 weight class and Payton Kemp in the 285 weight class. For the girl wrestlers going to regionals are Destiny Rhodes in the 128 weight class, Danae Fisher in the 138 weight class, Mia Wright in the 165 weight class and Nia Cromartie. The alternate wrestlers are Tommy Le in the 170 weight class, Roy Hodge in the 182 weight class and Christian Esqueda in the 220 weight class.
” I feel pretty good this year its my third year going to regionals and I’m really excited because this year I feel I’ve gotten better,” Varsity Wrestler Andres Farrera said.
Regionals are today at Blossom Athletic Center.
