Win and you’re in was the scenario for the Roosevelt Roughriders 
on Nov. 6 when they faced the Reagan Rattlers in their regular season finale at Heroes Stadium.
A productive running game and efficient pass protection from the offensive line was the perfect recipe for victory as the Roughriders sealed the deal and will enter the 5A playoffs on the heels of a 31-17 rout of the Reagan Rattlers.
Roosevelt’s defense was also up for the challenge, holding the Rattlers to one score for most of the ballgame.
It was the fourth district win of the season for the Roughriders, who now set their sights on the Steele Knights in a first round matchup at Heroes Stadium this weekend.
