Three Middle schools were chosen to come to tour the school, Ed White, Krueger and Wood. They’re chosen to come by their address, since they’re designated come here as their home school. The eighth graders took a tour of the campus and would later go to the auditorium where Flags, ROTC, Dance, Band, Choir, and Orchestra offered shows or presentations. The whole eighth grade was invited as long as they have permission. They were here two and a half hours from 9 to 11:30 am.
“I’m excited for them to be here,” Nancy Frase, Counselor, said.
There were a lot of students that were asked to help lead the middle schools students throughout the campus. These students were selected if they were in either Flags, ROTC, Dance, Band, Choir and Orchestra to perform a show for the eighth graders so they can be interested in being in at least one of these organizations.
“I’m glad to see new faces around the campus and I hope they do well at school,” Tyler Houghland, a sophomore, said.
These tours will help the freshmen of next year find their classes and know about electives.
“Some eighth grades were excited and others were worried to get to high school and that others were interested in the programs of DATA and ETA,” Samantha Villarreal, a Sophomore, said.
