On Dec. 1, the Patriots and varsity cheerleaders had three year olds to high school aged girls come to Roosevelt on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to dance with them, have fun and to help raise money for competitions. The kinder through high school girls were in the TR gym 1, and the younger aged girls were in the dance hall.
“I see all these girls smiling and performing, and I feel proud. We did this, we made it happen and I love that,” senior Amber Lopez said. “We would’ve loved to have any boys come but seeing the girls dance and have fun was just great.”In gym one, kinder aged girls and older were having a good time dancing to their choice of music. Kinder aged girls and younger were in the dance hall, playing little dance games.
