The Roosevelt bowling team this year is bigger and has more players than last year with 28 team members in total.
“I’ve been on the bowling team since the first day of school and I have gotten better over time,” junior bowling team member Alex Barfield said. “This is my first year on the bowling team and I think it is a really great.”
With the team having practices every Tuesday and Friday at the Astro Bowl they are progressing and preparing for their next tournament on Dec. 6 against Reagan.
“We’re having fun and looking forward to a great season. Having a returning state champ we [are] definitely returning to state this year,” bowling sponsor Steven Willaford said.
