Sausage, potato salad, beans, fixings, sweet tea…all this is included in the Sausage Supper this Thursday, Sept. 27 from 5-8 p.m. Roosevelt students and the community are invited to attend this fundraiser dinner hosted by ALL Roosevelt athletes and coaches in the TR Cafeteria.
“I think this fundraiser is a great way to help raise the money for our athletic program,” Freshman basketball athlete, Sara Baker said.
The money will go to the school’s athletic budget for things such as equipment.
“Everybody should come out and buy a ticket to support Rough Rider athletics,” said head track coach, Anthony Boykin.
Tickets can be bought in advance for $6 from coach Lahue, the athletic coordinator. Tickets can also be bought at the door.
DATA Web Design Teacher, Joseph Vidal, who bought a ticket to the dinner, said, “Events like the Sausage Dinner are wonderful because it’s a great way to support our students and you get a good meal out of it.”
