Are you in the mood for looking forward to a fun exiting event full of food, music, games, student performances, exhibitors, and other rad activities? National Night Out is from 6-8 p.m. tonight in the courtyard, to raise awareness for drug and crime prevention. This free community event is a great way you can meet your neighbors, coordinator Chris Cadena, the campus family specialist, said.
From past events Roosevelt was recognized due to its turnout of over 2,000 people and how much success it had accomplished.
“I am very excited for this year’s event. I can’t wait for the community to come together and have a grate time this year,” Cadena said.
Tonight’s event, Co-Sponsored by Rackspace, will have performances by the dance team and also the oc-tae-kwaon-do which will demonstrate mixed martial arts also a DJ will be there. The army will be there with there mobile go center and people from the Alamo Colleges so students can ask any questions they may have. So come out and meet your community at this year’s national night out.
