Do our Theodore Roosevelt Rough Riders have what it takes to be updated with new styles and make this campus fashionable?
With fashion and “SWAG” being a big trend for teenagers, everyone seems to stay on top of their game to keep updated with the latest trends. Some students might and some might not, not because they don’t have style but it may be because of money issues or just not having the time, how well do Roosevelt students know how to dress?
“In my opinion I think we do have some kids that have what you call, “SWAG”, but it’s not many people just the pretty boys.” Miguel Arambula, freshmen, said.
Arambula does not think that many people have style at Roosevelt but Jocelyn seems to think otherwise.
“Most definitely, I do think many people here at Roosevelt have style, many girls dress nice and decent and we have many boys who like to show off their style to the ladies and match, but over all I think we all do a pretty good job at keeping decent and fashionable.” Jocelyn Morales, junior, said.
Jasmine seems to agree very well out with Morales and has her own opinion on what style and “SWAG” really is.
“I think that many people at Roosevelt have “SWAG”, yes, but not many people have style. In my opinion “SWAG” is something everyone does, “SWAG” to me is basically being a follower, now as for style, it’s what you make of it, you’re own personal touch and it defines who you are and I don’t think many people here at Roosevelt have that personal touch to what they wear anymore, everyone looks the same trying to be the same.” Jasmine Brown, junior, said.
Looks like Roosevelt students have “SWAG” but not much style. Keeping up with the latest trends isn’t always the cool thing to do, just be who you are and express yourself in that manner and you’ll have style for sure, who knows, maybe the small personal touches you add to your outfits may become the next “SWAG”, then will you really be a leader with fashion and not just a follower that wears the same thing as everyone else.
