That’s right, it’s the 11th season of American Idol, and the second for our two newest judges: Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. We’ve all been excitedly watching the auditions and trying to predict who will win this year.
Freshman Christian Sanchez has been keeping up with every new episode.
“I like the auditions the best because you get to see all the nut cases come outand make fools of themselves,” Sanchez said.
Sanchez laughed and gave the example of the “gargler girl”.
“I don’t remember her name, but she was terrible and sounded like she was gargling. Before the audition, she was going on about how she would sing the National Anthem, giving you the impression that she must be good. But, nope.”
Freshman Michele Richardson hopes someone good will win this season.
“What’s his face? That country boy (Scotty McCreery) won last season. I was infuriated (with the decision by the judges). He sounded the same with everything he sang. The rock guy or the guy with the bass should have won,” Richardson said.
Richardson also mentioned that the girl with the growly voice should have won, anyone of the finalist except the one they picked.
Among the crazies and garglers, there is only one…American Idol.
