Here at Roosevelt High School, it’s second semester and the students have their plans already made.
Student plans for the second semester include improving or to see what they did good and do better. Some students were satisfied with what their grades looked like and some were not.
Regardless, now students are ready to start over again in the second semester.
“It’s second semester I have speech I can’t wait to meet new friends” Oscar Guzman, junior, said.
Second semester is always the “unusual” semester if you have A’s your only way is down unless you keep them up. If your grades weren’t as high you can go down but most likely only way you will go is up if you want them too.
“My grades were not what I wanted them to be but I will do better this semester” Araceli Escamilla, junior said.
Roosevelt students want to improve even if they were already doing good while others want to excel. Also in the second semester some students want to have fun.
“Second semester is gonna be fun district basketball started,” Derrick Ray, junior, said.
Most Roosevelt students have been ready for this semester to begin for a while and want to succeed. While other students want to succeed even if they are already doing good. That is how some Roosevelt students want to excel.
No matter what kind of student or member of the Roosevelt community you may be, this should be a memorable semester for everyone.
