ROOSEVELT STUDENTS SHARE THEIR FAVORITE MUSICAL PERFORMERS

As time goes by we get new bands or artist over time. From when our parents were little, till now we have seen a diversity in bands and artists whether rock to country or English to Spanish many new talented people have won over peoples hearts and attention.
What are your favorite bands or artist? Why?
“My favorite band is ‘Rocket To The Moon’ because they have awesome songs that I can really connect with and I love their beats which is a plus,” Ben Rocha, junior,said.
While some listen to new bands, others are still caught on to the ‘oldies’.
“I love Michael Jackson, he was so inspirational with so many people judging him and telling him stuff he still did what he loved and touched many people along the way, like Lady Gaga! I love her too!” Wendy Gonzalez, sophomore, said.
As some people like what is inpirational and well cared for, others like to be ‘rebels’ and go for what is less wanted.
“I really like LMFAO because they are really crazy and nobody really likes them and I liked it even more because their ‘La,La,La’ video comes out with the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast,” Andrew Gutierrez, junior, said.
There will always be music all around the world, diversed into many genres and cultures, but it will always find a way to unite us as one when we like the same music.
