Roosevelt To Host PTA Open House, National Night Out

Parents, teachers, students, and members of the community will be attending the Open House and PTA Greenback Night at Roosevelt High School to be held on Sept. 20.
The annual event gives parents the opportunity to meet teachers face to face in either a classroom or at an agreed upon location on campus.
Freshman schedule distribution will be at 5:30-6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. The GT Meeting for parents of GT students will be held in the library in L109 from 5:30-6:00 p.m.
There will be a PTA assembly in the auditorium from 6:05-6:30 p.m. and a STARR/EOC meeting from 6:35-7:15 p.m. A break will commence from 7:15-7:20 p.m. and then a meet, greet, and visit with parents will be from 7:20-8:00 p.m.
Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will have a graduation requirements meeting from 7:20-8:00 p.m.

Roosevelt will host its annual National Night Out on Oct. 4 from 6-8:00 p.m. The event sponsored by Rackspace Hosting, Inc. will include food, music, activities, games, student performances, and exhibitors.
