UIL INFORMATION MEETING TO BE HELD IN RHS LIBRARY
Students interested in participating in University Interscholastic League academic competition are being urged to attend an infomation seminar on Sept. 13 at 8 a.m. in the Roosevelt High School library.
UIL academics competitions include but are not limited to mathematics, speech, debate, current events, and journalism. Students are encouraged to participate in as many events as schedules will allow and could be eligible for awards during the competitions.
Students who compete in UIL competitions help boost their chances of acceptance into the future colleges and universities they wish to attend. Those who participate in UIL also get a chance to represent their high school and compete with and against some of the best young minds in the state of Texas.
