Roosevelt Teachers Enforce Tardy Policy

Roosevelt teachers enter tardies during a Tardy Roundup for the first class period of the school day.

Members of the Roosevelt faculty who are not engaged in classes during certain periods have been assigned Tardy Roundup responsibilities.
Teachers assigned to the tardy stations get the students information and enter it into the attendance system allowing other teachers a chance to have smoother flowing classes without having to abruptly stop the lesson they are presenting because of a student that is tardy.
The goal of Roosevelt’s Tardy Roundup is to reduce the number of tardies throughout the campus. A quick glimpse around the hallways seems to be reassurance that this program is working with a high degree of success.
