On May 14, get ready for the riot because the 16th anniversary of The White Rabbit concert club on N. Saint Mary’s Street is coming up.
It’s going to be a long day for concert goers. The show starts at 2:00 p.m. and goes till 2:00 a.m.
Many local bands will perform that day such as Immortal Guardian, Of Ruins, My City Underwater and many more.
“I’m coming from Corpus Christi just to see this show. So I’m really excited,” Janie Marie, a 22-year old cosmetologist said.
People attending are pleased about the price of the show because it’s absolutely free.
“Who wouldn’t go? Three main things go with this show. Pizza, heavy metal, and it’s free. No charge for entrance,” Marco Villanueva, senior, said.
The White Rabbit will be expected to reach its capacity on that night, so fire code laws which restrict how many people can be in the concert area may apply. Sophomore Matthew Callaghan expects it to be warm with all the people around at the concert.
“I’m ready to mosh. Are you ready to sweat?” Collaghan said.
All brothers of metal and sisters of steel join The White Rabbit for a wonderful night of music and fun.
