DATA Celebrates 20 Years

Some of the DATA Ambassadors gather for a photo op at the DATA 20th anniversary on January 9. The ambassadors gave tours of DATA to those in attendance.

Former NEISD superintendent, Dr. Richard Middleton (Right) uses an iPad to sign up for a plaque on the new wall mural going up in DATA. Dr. Middleton was the superintendent when DATA was formed and helped with the founding of the program.

Dr. Richard Middleton talks to DATA Senior Patricia Dala. Patricia is a DATA ambassador, which allowed her to get direct interaction with those in attendance.

Francisco “Paco” Rodriguez gives a speech at the anniversary. Paco was selected to be the student speaker because he has gone through the middle school DATA program and continued into the High school program.
