Lady Gaga whose birth name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was born on March 28, 1986 and has been making hit music since 2009. With over 16 hit record singles from “Just Dance” to “Telephone”, most everyone in the world has caught on to her unique sense of style which has been described as off the charts and out of this world.
The lady that shocked the music industry and fashion designers across the globe by entering this year’s Grammy music awards in a large egg is certainly not afraid to make a statement with her selection of garb. That statement is being heard loud and clear by her adoring fans. She is currently one of the top selling artists on music downloading sites such as iTunes, Napster, Real Rhapsody, eMusic, MP3.com and Zune.
“I love her whole attitude towards people who don’t like her the way she is. She’s given me more confidence to be who I am and not care what people say cause in the end, I’m still gonna be who I am.
I love her no matter what people say,” Angelina Aguilar, sophomore, said.
Lady Gaga has been an inspiration to people of all walks of life raising awareness of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy to a bigger stage showing her respect for the gay community. She likes to represent those who don’t have a voice and say that there is nothing wrong with being who you are and everyone is beautiful in their own way. The “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy prohibits military personnel from discussing and making public their gender preferences. Lady Gaga is among a legion of celebrities that have been resistant to this political practice by the United States government.
Lady Gaga has a great sense of style and seems to always amaze me every time I see her on the television. I love the things she does for the gay communities and people who have (thought about) committing suicide for staying quiet and letting people pick on them. She’s an inspiration to many.
Over the past three years, Lady Gaga has managed to get over 12 awards just on hit records alone. She is a walking role model to inform people no matter what, your beautiful in your skin.
“Lady Gaga is amazing and beautiful all the way around inside and out. Can’t wait to see what other crazy things she’s gonna pull,” Brenda Gutierrez, sophomore, said.
