This is it, your final years of school, after high school, everything changes. It’s almost the time when you start your own life and become an independent person.
Your future depends on your choices you make here in high school and the steps you take right after.
Some might have college in mind or maybe even community college. Then there are those who won’t need college or just won’t want to go. What ever the choice may be, do the best you can do.
“I really don’t know what I’m doing after high school. I still have two years to think about it. I know I want to be a veternarian when I’m older so I might go to some nursing school or something like that,” Kaela Sams, sophomore, said.
Further education is something many students are thinking about. They want to make sure they’re able to afford what ever comes their way.
“I just know I want to go to college. As long as my job will support my future kids and wife then I’m fine with whatever I do. I don’t want to be struggling. I want a job where I can give my family all their wants and needs,” Kris Hernandez, junior, said.
Many are thinking immediately ahead to the far future when they’ve already got their job and a family started. There are others that want to make sure they take care of themselves before involving anybody else.
“I’m going to college but I don’t really know. I want to be like a CEO. I wanna be a businessman. I’m going to have a nice car and clothes, and a girl by my side,” Erick Guerrero, sophomore, said.
Everything you’ve done in high school leads you to your new life. Enjoy the time you’ve got left and make the right choices because the better you do here, the better your future will turn out. Just take it one step at a time.
