It is an annual tradition that gives senior boys a taste of what it is like for the Patriots. With the costumes, full out make up and wigs on, they make memories with their friends that will last a lifetime. As part of the Patriot Preview show every year, the senior girls make dances and teach them to senior boy Patriots.
“Although teaching these boys was a struggle, they had such a fun time learning how we prep for our everyday dances,” senior Crystal Washington said.
Families and friends came out and support their sons’ performances. A total of 25 senior boys participated with support of the dance team.
“If I could do again with a group of my boys, more of them, I totally would,” senior Amariay Easter said.
The tradition has gone on for decades.
“Ever since I was a Patriot back in my years of high school, senior boys always gave us that hype and push we needed towards the end of the show,” Dance Coach Alison Redding said.
