Accessories can say a lot about someone’s personality. They might be an attempt to draw attention from large groups of people or close personal friends.
At Roosevelt High School, there are plenty of students who show off their unique style, and their accessories are a large part of the fashion statements they are trying to make.
Students were recently asked what accessories they need or love to wear.
“My bracelets are accessories I love to wear because without them it just feels weird. I would feel unusual. I wear them all the time with everything. Their important because my friends and family bring them to me from the places they visit,” Amber Ory, sophomore, said.
Bracelets are the most common accessory among Roosevelt students seen in the hallways. Pairing a red bangle or studded bracelets with a top gives any outfit some edge.
“I like a bracelet that says happy because that’s what I always am, and it brings me good days,” Ofelia Hinny, freshmen, said.
Bracelets that are stylish are often chunky in appearance. Black bracelets are usually very stylish as well.
“My sweater is my favorite accessory because I like wearing sweaters, and my gauges because they’re cool,” Jackie Biayobzcki, senior, said.
Gauges are definitely a cool and great fashion statement according to most Rough Riders interviewed.
Accessories make or break an outfit. These fashion tips are taken into consideration by stylist when they sell products and also by students who want to be fashion designers in the future.
