The world is in need of desperate care. There are all kinds of things you can do to help the Earth.
Recycling, conserving paper, carpooling, etc. Every little thing you do to help can save the Earth from destruction. Never think that you can’t do anything just because you’re one person.
“My mom and dad make us put like our soda cans and bottles in a seperate trash can. Sometimes, when I see trash on the floor I pick it up because I can’t stand it when people litter,” Jerin Keris, freshmen, said.
Some people are dedicated to helping out at any time they get the chance to. They recycle at home and anywhere else that they can. Even though recycling is one of the most popular ways of helping, it’s not the only way to keep the planet clean.
“I ride the bus to school so I know that’s one of the ways that I help the Earth. I can’t say that I always recycle but at least I try to. Like when I eat lunch in the cafeteria I always throw my bottles in that recycling trash can,” Margarita Martinez, sophomore, said.
Helping can even be just as simple as riding the bus to school. Of all the ways to help out, there are some people that are stuck on what to do or where to begin.
“Well it’s not really like I don’t want to help, it’s just that I don’t know what to do and when I do know what to do, I either don’t know how to do it or don’t know where to start off. I do think the school uses a lot of paper that just goes to waist. I think they should slow down on that.
Ideas as little as printing on the front and back of a paper can make a difference. Anything you can think of, no matter how small the thought, can make a huge change. Just always keep in mind that when it comes to saving the Earth, every little bit counts.
