The new installment of the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, becomes available to the public on Nov. 18. The hype continues to grow due to the increasing amount of support and leaks from the official Pokémon YouTube channel, such as new forms to familiar Pokémon, as well as a new set of Pokémon altogether.
These new Pokémon games are becoming much more prominent since the announcement took place on Feb. 26. Since the release is getting closer and closer, the Pokémon fan base is becoming incredibly ecstatic as the increasing number of news and photos are being leaked. These tactical spoilers create more of an excitement in the hearts of many long term Pokémon trainers that have been here since the beginning, as well as in the hearts of beginning Pokémon trainers, creating a nostalgic memories that will last forever.
The first Pokémon game came out Feb. 27, 1996 in Japan and was released in the United States Sept. 28, 1998. Since then Pokémon has been stuck in the memories of those who have encountered it. Pokémon has stuck around for about 20 years and continues to grow as more games are coming to surface, as well as remakes and new Pokémon, making the term “gotta catch em’ all!” increasingly difficult as years go by.
Pokémon has kept people in awe as more and more news comes out as well as new Pokémon coming to surface, it continues to dazzle its audience and bring entertainment to many, and as it continues to grow, so does the fan base.
Satoshi Tajiri created Pokémon and has shaped people’s childhood, as did many of the other games he has created. Pokémon has been thriving for over 20 years and maybe with enough luck, it will continue for another 20 more!
With the upcoming new features and Pokémon in Sun and Moon, a wave of nostalgia has washed over many, the overwhelming amount of new fans and old fans coming to stores, waiting in lines and impatiently grinding their teeth for the final release of this game it has evolved from a couple of pixels on a screen to perfect color and great graphics, making the entire idea of Pokémon more awe inspiring and incredible ideas for the future to become even better!
