He’s an average guy who never thought that being a teacher is something he would have fallen in love with.
“Unfortunately no, but I fell in love with it as a tutor and supplementary instructor in college,” Chemistry, and Anatomy and Physiology teacher Christopher Flores said.

Being his first year at Roosevelt, he already fell in love with the bond he has made with the students and how good it is going for him. “Roosevelt is my new home. I don’t want to be anywhere else, I love my students like my own family,” said Flores.
In December of 2015, Flores graduated with B.S. in Physical Chemistry and math minor. This is also his first year teaching, so as students learn from him, they are also learning with him; the experience is mutual.
“Mr. Flores is such an amazing teacher,” junior Esmeralda Garcia said. “I feel like when I am taking his class, I can really sit down and understand what lesson he is teaching.”
He starts off his day listening to music and having a cup of coffee.
“Mr.Flores, man he is just such a chill guy,” junior Jalin Thomas said. “He does his job as a teacher but also connects with his students as he needs to, so he can teach.”
