One of reality television’s biggest shows is back this season. However, it’s better than ever this time around.
On Jan. 11, people all around the nation were able to once again tune in to “The Game”, an American drama-comedy television series which cast consists of Tia Mowry, Pouch Hall, Coby Bell, and Wendy Raquel Robinson.
“I love that the show is back and I will be tuned in every Tuesday,” Jullissa Rodriquez, sophomore, said.
This television show premiered in 2006, but was cancelled in after the 2009 season. In April 2010, Black Entertainment Television announced that they were going to bring the show back to the air. Now it is back for viewers to enjoy, with entirely new episodes every Tuesday night.
Junior Crystal Washington is excited that the show is back because in her words, “there are so many twists and plots now than ever before.”
“The first episode enough by itself proved why we love it so much,” Washington said.
The show had 7.7 million viewers last season and the cast and directors are hoping their work will top that mark this year.
“Each character has a good storyline. It’s only been back for two episodes so far, and I just can’t get enough of it. You’re zoned in every time,” Quashaun Nious, senior, said.
Well, the people and the Nielson ratings have spoken. “The Game” is something you do not want to miss. This show will make you sad, mad, happy, sometimes confused and every other emotion one can possibly feel.
Be tuned in every Tuesday night at 9 o’clock to BET to catch it. Game time!
