Hearts are racing, screams are getting louder and louder… Then, BOOM! You spill your popcorn and soda on the person next to you, and all because the lights went out.
On July 22, in my opinion the best scary movie so far of 2016 came out to satisfied young teens. The film ‘Lights Out’ was released by Warner Bros, and was directed by David F. Sandberg. People were talking about this movie like crazy, people from all over started seeing this movie, because of the fact that people have paid good money to see this movie, it has grossed over $125 million and the reviews have been flying through the roof with good notes.
Lights out is about a woman (Maria Bello, who also has starred in the film Grown Ups 2.) that has a special friend when the lights go out, because it is a childhood friend that she made when she was in a mental hospital and the entity passed away and went into her head. But now it starts to torment her family and soon ends up killing her husband (Billy Burke, who also had a role in the Twilight Sagas) and tries to get her kids out of her life. If first starts out when the oldest daughter (Teresa Palmer, who also starred in Zombie love stories such as Warm Bodies) sees the entity when she was much younger, and now it has gotten to her youngest brother (Gabriel Bateman, who starred in the CBS series Stalker.) They try and figure out how they can get rid of the bad spirit to finally get their mother back to normal.
I high recommended to see this movie if you want just a little scare or a little jump to get your adrenaline up and going.
Remember, lights out.
