Random Acts Of Kindness (RAK) are selfless acts by one person or more to either cheer up an individual or make one smile. Feb. 8-12 was the school’s version of Random Acts Of Kindness week. During lunches, teachers would hand out strips of paper with kind and positive quotes printed on them to make students feel more worthy.
Teachers and students all participated in RAK week. During students’ art periods they went out to the courtyard and started to create kind sayings for students and teachers to see, including kind, funny, inspirational quotes.

“I thought the chalk art was amazing and beautiful and people should really appreciate this act of kindness. I mean for students to go out and take their time to make others around them smile is just so wonderful,” sophomore Briandrea Estrada said.
