On Saturday, Jan. 9, varsity football’s Tommy Mills and Xavier Roberson took the field at the Alamodome to represent the eastern all star team. This annual east versus west matchup featured 100 of San Antonio’s top high school football players from over 50 schools.
Mills and Roberson were selected to the all star game by a panel of coaches and members of the San Antonio sports board after their impressive seasons on the defensive side of the field, so it came as no surprise that they were both able to add a few more tackles to their stat chart during Saturday night’s game. Although the West team was Able to finish the game with the win, it was surely a special night for players on both sides.
