between inspiration

I remember a time when
creativity and
daily work
were interchangable
and I wish for those days
to return
Too tired
to inspire
Need a match
to spark a fire
Tomorrow begins Christmas break
maybe Santa will give me
a creativity chip
but I haven’t been good enough all year
maybe he’s the one
sucking it out
because I never leave milk out
